Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Green.
Hi Anthony, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
At the end of 2014, I had a lot of devastating changes in my life and I was battling deep depression. One of the things that was keeping me going at the time was listening to Podcasts. Some of my favorite podcasts at that time were Joe Rogan, Bill Burr and the Combat Jack Show. Those podcasts inspired me to give a go at podcasting and I never looked back.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. Throughout the years I’ve gained some relationships and lost some relationships. But it’s all been worth it. Seeing the progression makes me want to keep going. The podcasting industry is still fairly new so a lot of people don’t understand it. When I tell people I can’t go to certain events because I need to focus on my craft (podcasting) they don’t understand it all. Most people see podcasting as a hobby still. Podcasting is my life.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m currently a full time content creator. One of my main titles is podcasting. We have a weekly podcast called “Random Acts Of Podcast” where we average 30,000 listeners a week on all platforms combined.
Having one of the most entertaining podcasts without a deal or popular cosigns.
My proudest moment in podcasting was opening up our own podcast studio and getting my team paid off podcasting.
All our conversations on our show is organic and we don’t rely on buzz topics to keep things going. It’s literally no show in podcasting or content creating period you can compare to us.
How do you think about luck?
A small amount. I feel like hard work has played more of a role than anything.
