Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Jackson.
Hi Tracy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am an accomplished entrepreneur dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through my diverse expertise and passion for service. I bring a unique blend of spiritual insight, professional acumen, and a deep commitment to family well-being. Married for 32 years and a proud mother of two. My desire is to tell my unique story of how becoming a wife empowered me, to become an author of four books titled “This love, love that covers a multitude of sin”; volumes one and two; a journal, titled “Conversations, and Questions to ask when dating over 30,” and a children’s book titled “That’s OK. God made me this way”. I am also an entrepreneur for travel business marketing to show how others can also own their own travel business or to be a travel advisor and book vacations.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was definitely not a smooth road. I had my own thoughts of myself being Inadequate, not educated enough, or not a professional writer, nor journalist; but I persevered and continued my devotion to accomplish writing a book that took me 30 years to finally finish and to publish, but I accomplished it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Well, I have always been well diverse and specialized in many different avenues, which makes me a strong entrepreneur. I have always been in the business administration profession. I have accomplished a Master’s in Theology which I have been ordained and was a Children’s/youth Pastor. I have a Master’s Certificate in Family and Marriage Therapy as well as, Human Resources, which is my current professional. I am most proud of becoming a mother, my greatest joy was raising my children. What sets me apart from others would be my compassion, and a steadfast dedication to making a positive impact.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice would be to run with your vision, obstacles may come, but keep going, jump over hurdles, dip, dodge, and duck, the pitfalls, if you happen to trip, get back up quickly; don’t let procrastination or setbacks hold you back. Also, study your craft always be willing to learn and grow in your field.
