Hi Tara, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi there! I’m Tara, the proud owner of Tara Inks and Forever Linked Gainesville. After 15 years in dentistry, I decided to pursue my passion for making a difference and exploring personal growth. In 2021, I ventured into the world of permanent makeup, and in 2022, I discovered permanent jewelry. Realizing a gap in the market, I founded Forever Linked Gainesville to bring something unique to the area. Despite limited resources, I was determined to create a warm and inviting space where people could experience the joy of permanent jewelry. It’s not just about the jewelry itself, but the memories and connections it creates.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve had the pleasure of “forever linking” thousands of incredible individuals, forming amazing relationships and friendships. From serving families in Gainesville to collaborating with sororities at the University of Florida, every moment has been truly special.
This journey has allowed me to find the perfect balance between being a devoted wife/mother and a successful businesswoman. It’s a privilege to show my daughter that it’s never too late to chase your dreams and create a career (or two) that brings you joy. I’m grateful for every tear shed, every smile shared, and every memory created in my little studio.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
No, I have put in a tremendous amount of effort to achieve everything that has resulted from this. There is a significant amount of behind-the-scenes work and expenses required to maintain and grow.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I absolutely love what I do! Whether it’s giving people fabulous new brows or helping them create personalized jewelry, I take pride in making people happy. My goal is to create a space that feels special and safe, where customers keep coming back for more. I enjoy building connections and making friends with everyone who walks through my door. It’s truly a joy to see the smiles on people’s faces and know that I’ve made a positive impact in their lives. Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’m a closet gangster with a touch of Joanna Gaines wannabe. I’m all about home renovations and organizing everything, all while jamming to Gucci Mane. It’s the perfect combo!
