Conversations with Sarah Vargas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Vargas

Hi Sarah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I was a little girl I grew up in Newark, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I was a teen mom and began my journey into adulthood when I became a mother of two. I went on to serve my country in the United States military and finished up my degree in criminal justice/ criminal law. My passion is to serve justice for those in need of an advocate against many social issues. I am a professional model and artist and have encountered many experiences where I have the knowledge and experience to help many people overcome their challenges in life.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The struggles have been real. Being in a male dominated industry I face many challenges. I work very hard in both careers and being a dominant female can be difficult for everyone.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have done many cool things in my life but modeling and being an artist has changed my life. I have been able to meet so many amazing people and have given me an outlet to be me. I am a model for naughty by nature. Have conducted many interviews for this is 50, I heart media and several local stations. I’ve been seen collaborating with many photographers and have been published by great magazines in the hip hop industry. I am currently working on films leading me into acting.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Being open to my art is the greatest support. My email is always open to anyone interested in collaborating and contributing to society.
