Today we’d like to introduce you to Lak Vohra.
Hi Lak, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Lak owns PartyDigest.com, the inside word on social and business networking, for 30 years and nine years ago with the inspiration of a well known East Hampton NY resident the late Ms Adina Azarian (who sadly perished at a very young age with her daughter on a private jet accident) he recreated a historic cigar called “Enigma” from Sag Harbor NY and today with the blessings of the divine and #VohraVeterans, he owns 22 premium cigar brands. He has been based in Jacksonville FL because a local native visited his booth at the Sag Harbor Oktoberfest and happened to like his story, his personality, his style, his salesmanship, and this crypto philanthropist on the spot ordered 10,000 cigars at full retail price with the hope that Lak would come spend a few years as Jax readies a stadium uplift. This gentleman was and continues to remain behind a scenes and a true visionary. Everytime Lak plans to migrate to another city or return to Sag Harbor, this local Jaxson places another majestic order!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Jacksonville has been a very welcoming town with its cigar friendly community especially in the African American community
The only challenge Lak has faced is with a few public servants who have obstructed paths along his way and a few event organizers and venues that have tried to curb his appeal but so far have been unable to prevent his mission of providing premium high-quality cigars as a replacement to cheap and unhealthy cigarettes and to help the wounded warriors and those suffering from addiction and also to provide a discreet and smoke free smoking environment away from smoky cigar lounges.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a journalist and graduate of. Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and a former Rotary Peace Scholar, Lak is a published author of a book “Turn Your Life Around in 30 Days” and loves creating new ideas and new creations fit his cigar labels and helps his friends and business associates execute and market their ideas and sell them too!
