Today we’d like to introduce you to Kynzie Christian.
Hi Kynzie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I originally started my craft with no intention of business, I just needed something to keep my hands busy to distract from my anxiety.
Working with crystals certainly gave me that! At the behest of several close friends and family, almost 4 years later, I have a small business that I love and get to share my art with the world. Not to mention, it allows me more time at home with my baby girl.
Nothing gets better than that!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It certainly hasn’t been the smoothest course of action, life gets busy and sometimes I hardly have time to shower let alone work on my art. Towards the end of my pregnancy, I even developed carpal tunnel syndrome which caused me pain to even hold a cup!
Thankfully, it went away once she was born and the swelling went down.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve always been drawn to the creative side of life but really found my passion in wire-wrapped crystal jewelry. It’s amazing to see where I started and what I’m able to create now. I believe my work is set apart by my unique designs, high-quality stones, and the durability of my pieces. I’m very proud to say that my work has never received a complaint and that since opening my online shop, I’ve sold pieces in 16 different states.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I believe my most important quality would have to be my perseverance. It’s tempting to pack it up some days, I can go weeks without order and it definitely hurts your feelings sometimes. It’s important to remember that business is business and cannot be taken personally.
