Today we’d like to introduce you to KING LA 904.
KING LA, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
At the age of 14, I started making music in 2012 and now been making music over a decade now. My dad would buy recording software also the equipment for me to start the music journey. I got to where I am today for one is by God. Far as music I’m here today still dropping for the love of music and passion I have for it. Music is something deep into me, it’s a feeling more than anything I can’t explain. It’s like I’m able to vent or speak what I’m actually feeling or going through and make it into something special.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, if it was I honestly feel like I’ll be where I want in music right now but that’s not the case. One of the struggles along the way that occurred was me not able to do music for over six months due to mistakes I’ve learned from. Back and better than ever before! Challenges come in many ways, the thing is you cannot be the one to give up or quit. Just remember at the end when it’s said and done, you’ll feel the success you’ve put in.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I make music and also film in music videos such as myself. Specializing in the studio 24/7, staying consistent and crafting better versatilely. I’m known for my latest album, that’s out on every platform titled “Ms Linda Grandson” by KING LA 904. Most proud thing I’m proud of would be waking up everyday to keep getting another day to record music. My versatilely, mindset, and skills is what sets me apart from others. Never tend on to much what others have going on honestly.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The advice I would give for those who are just starting out would be, don’t just do it because everyone else is doing do it. Do it for the love and passion you have for whatever it is. It takes blood, sweat, and tears to get where you want without taking the shortcut. Things I wish I knew starting out would be, don’t take my gift or my craft for granted. I lost over 6 months again for not making right decision’s. Another would be don’t think everyone will be on your team or support you because sometimes it’s not that way.
