Hi Keri, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After nearly 17 years in the cosmetology industry, I was tired—tired of working endless hours, making other people rich while I struggled to survive. In 2022, with only $16 to my name, I finally took a leap of faith and started my own business, Bikini Moon Waxing Co.
But the road wasn’t easy. Just a week after opening, I became homeless. I had no clients, no steady income, and was battling addiction. From the outside, it looked impossible. But in the middle of my brokenness, I surrendered my life to the Lord—and He turned everything around.
God took my ashes and gave me beauty. He delivered me from addiction, provided for me when I had nothing, and blessed my business in ways I could never have imagined. Today, I am humbled to say that Bikini Moon Waxing Co. has grown to over 374 repeat clients and is generating a six-figure income each year.
Every success, every client, every blessing—I give all the glory to God. What started as a desperate step of faith has now become a thriving business, and my vision is to one day franchise Bikini Moon Waxing Co. so it can be a light and blessing to even more communities.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not, there were many highs and lows. There were times I didn’t know how I was going to make it, moments when I had nothing but faith to hold on to. But it was in those valleys that I learned to trust God the most. Every struggle became a stepping stone, every setback a setup for His greater plan.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What sets me apart is the heart I put into my business. Every client that walks through my door is treated with the same level of care, consistency, and respect—I want them to feel not just like clients, but like family. I’m proud of the technique I’ve developed over the years, especially for Brazilian waxing, which allows me to provide a service that’s both thorough and as comfortable as possible. But more than the technique, I’m proud of the atmosphere I’ve created—one built on kindness, excellence, and genuine connection.

There’s been no luck involved, just Jesus, hardworking, and dedication.
