Today we’d like to introduce you to Hadid Boneta.
Hi Hadid, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started with a similar story to all the greatest to ever do it. I picked up my instrument (drums) and the rest was history. To be more specific, a video game called “rock band” sparked my interest in percussion. Later along in my journey my interest for rapping and singing came along inspired by Wiz Khalifas mixtape, “Taylor Allderdice”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As most artists and creatives know, the journey has many obstacles but most of the time the biggest obstacle can be yourself. Becoming successful in this industry takes A LOT of confidence. My personal struggles included mostly that. Self doubt. Self sabotage and lack of social battery sometimes
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m most well known for my high energy stage presence at concerts. People always expect the best from me. What sets me apart is my voice mostly but also my projection and my style of music
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, besides my music I enjoyed playing basketball with the boys on the block and video games like NBA 2k and call of duty. Typical young lad things
