Conversations with Blake Henderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Blake Henderson

Hi Blake, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Absolutely! My journey into the live entertainment industry started with a deep passion for music and event production. I’ve always been fascinated by the way music brings people together and creates unforgettable experiences.

Before launching The Elektronic Group in November 2021, I was involved in event planning, logistics, and marketing, working on various nightlife and entertainment projects. My background in Computer & Information Sciences with a minor in Digital Marketing gave me a unique edge—I understood both the technical and promotional aspects of the industry.

With a vision in mind, I founded The Elektronic Group, an event curation company focused on crafting high-energy experiences with top-tier artists, cutting-edge production, and an emphasis on community engagement.

Since our first event, we’ve had the privilege of working with major artists like HOL!, Boogie T, Mau P, Marauda, Crankdat, Riot Ten, TVBOO, Walker & Royce, and many more. Each event is meticulously planned—from the lineup and marketing to the lighting and sound—because we believe every detail contributes to an unforgettable night.

Today, we continue to grow, pushing boundaries and elevating the live entertainment scene in Jacksonville and beyond. It’s been an exciting ride, and I can’t wait to see where we take it next!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road building The Elektronic Group has been an incredible journey, but like any business in the live entertainment industry, it’s come with challenges.

One of the biggest obstacles has been navigating the ever-changing landscape of the live event industry. Factors like fluctuating artist fees, shifting audience trends, and the increasing demand for immersive experiences mean we have to constantly innovate to stay ahead.

Another major challenge was dealing with the lingering effects of COVID-19 on live entertainment. Even after restrictions lifted, there were uncertainties and people’s concert-going habits had changed, and the industry was still recovering. Artists were rescheduling, touring costs had increased, and there was a lot of unpredictability when it came to attendance. It took time to rebuild momentum, but we focused on delivering high-quality, unique experiences that kept people excited about coming back to shows.

Luckily, having Myth Nightclub as our venue has provided a solid foundation. It’s allowed us to create a home for our events where we can consistently refine production, enhance the experience, and build a loyal audience. While every event presents its own set of challenges, we’ve learned to adapt, problem-solve, and keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in live entertainment.

At the end of the day, the energy of a packed crowd, the connection between fans and artists, and the unforgettable moments we help create make all the challenges worth it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
For me, it all comes down to creating unforgettable experiences through music. I’ve always been passionate about live events, and I love the energy that comes from bringing people together for something truly special.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. Seeing people come back event after event, making new friends, and sharing these moments. That’s what makes all the hard work worth it. I didn’t just want to throw shows; I wanted to help grow Jacksonville’s electronic music scene and give people a place where they could come and truly lose themselves in the music.

What makes me different? I think it’s my mix of creativity and strategy. With my background in tech and digital marketing, I take a data-driven approach to everything from booking decisions to promotions, making sure we’re always improving and staying ahead of trends. But at the heart of it, I’m just someone who loves music and live events, and I want to create nights that people will never forget.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I’m always open to working with artists, promoters, brands, and creatives who are passionate about live music and immersive experiences. Whether it’s booking talent, collaborating on an event, or exploring unique partnerships, I love connecting with people who bring fresh ideas to the table.

The best way to reach me is through, email, or in person at one of our events. Supporting what we do is as simple as coming out to a show, sharing the experience with friends, and being part of the energy that makes these events so special. The electronic music scene thrives on community, and every person who shows up, shares a post, or helps spread the word plays a role in growing something bigger.

If you’ve got an idea or want to collaborate, let’s make something happen!
