Hi Megan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Miss Bubble Faye, and I’m the proud owner of BubblePlay LLC—a growing entertainment business where magic is made with bubbles, foam, and a whole lot of heart. While I’m relatively new to the bubble scene, I’ve been immersed in the world of circus and fire arts for over 15 years.
My journey began in Texas, where I performed as a fire artist for 11 years. Fire was my first love in performance—a powerful, beautiful medium that taught me how to own my space, tell a story, and create unforgettable experiences. But in 2019, my husband and I made a life-changing decision: we bought a sailboat and set sail for the Bahamas, just before the pandemic hit.
As the world shut down, we realized we had stumbled into the perfect form of social distancing. So we embraced it. For almost four years, we traveled over 18,000 nautical kilometers on just $30,000, letting the ocean be our guide. It was a time of deep introspection, growth, and unexpected lessons. Eventually, the winds brought us to Jacksonville, Florida—where my life would shift again in a big way.
My marriage ended, and with that heartbreak came a new chapter. I knew I needed to start fresh, to create something grounded in light and joy. That’s when BubblePlay LLC was born.
What started as a simple bubble show quickly evolved into a full sensory experience filled with foam parties, giant bubbles, and unforgettable smiles. And what I didn’t expect was how deeply rewarding this new path would feel. With every event, I get to witness pure joy. I get to make kids laugh, hear parents say, “That was amazing,” and know that I’ve brought something special to someone’s day.
The difference in energy between my two worlds—bubbles and fire—is stark. Fire performing is thrilling and meaningful, but it comes with a lot of challenges. It’s physically demanding, requires intense preparation, and often faces limitations with safety and venue restrictions. While I still love and honor that part of my work, bubbles offer a whole new kind of magic.
With bubbles, the reward is instant. The joy is universal. Every time I’m booked, I see entire families light up. Parents and children alike are always satisfied—and that fills my heart in a way I didn’t know I needed. The art of bubble play is delicate, fun, and so full of life. It’s taught me that the simplest forms of joy can often be the most powerful.
Now in my second year with BubblePlay, I finally feel like everything is coming together. I’ve found a way to blend performance with purpose, art with heart. I get to be a source of light—both literally and figuratively—and that’s the greatest gift of all.
Bubbles saved me. They gave me something soft to hold onto during a hard time. They reminded me of the beauty in fleeting moments and the importance of connection. Today, I carry that magic with me into every show, every party, every child’s smile.
I don’t know where this journey will lead next, but I know I’m following something true. Something joyful. And I’ll keep sharing that magic—one bubble at a time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Rebuilding without the comfort of double income has been my biggest struggle. The fear of building a business and making sure all my parent responsibilities are upkept is my biggest hurdle for sure. But as I look back on my journey, I see the progress. I see how it has changed . It may feel slower than I want but it is perfect for what I was able to handle through this last year.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
If you are starting on a small income like I was , Start small, Create your business, build your socials, and start adding facebook groups that is your target market or business support pages. For me I have added hundreds of mom groups all over the us, along side other themed groups that target towards people who will uplift me or bring me business! From there Posting and interacting has created a comfortable client base to start building your reputation.
