Community Highlights: Meet Camron Wright of Wright Way Painting & Repair Services LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camron Wright.

Hi Camron, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Wright Way Painting & Repair Services started with a vision to raise the standard of what people expect when they hire a painter. Early on, I noticed that a lot of homeowners weren’t just frustrated with the quality of work; they were frustrated with the lack of communication, professionalism, and care throughout the entire process. I knew I could do it differently.

In the beginning, it was very hands-on. I was on every job, focused on mastering the craft and building a reputation one project at a time. Attention to detail became a huge part of our identity; making sure every line was clean, every surface properly prepped, and every client felt confident from start to finish.

As momentum grew through word-of-mouth and referrals, so did the vision. What started as just painting homes turned into building a brand centered around trust, consistency, and doing things the “Wright Way.” That means not cutting corners, showing up when we say we will, and treating every home like it matters—because it does.

Today, we’re continuing to grow not just in the number of projects we take on, but in the impact we’re making. We’re focused on building a strong team, creating opportunities for others, and connecting more with our community; both through our work and through sharing more of who we are behind the business.

It’s been a journey built on consistency, faith in the process, and a commitment to doing things right—even when it’s not the easiest way. And we’re just getting started.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road; like most journeys in entrepreneurship, there have been seasons of uncertainty, stretching, and a lot of learning along the way. Building something from the ground up requires a level of resilience that you don’t fully understand until you’re in it.

But through it all, my faith has been the anchor. Leaning on Jesus has given me clarity, peace, and direction in moments where things didn’t make sense or didn’t go as planned. Instead of focusing on the obstacles themselves, I’ve learned to trust that every challenge is shaping me; not just as a business owner, but as a person.

There have been times where things felt uncertain, but those moments often became the biggest turning points. They forced growth, strengthened discipline, and deepened my perspective on what it really means to lead and serve others well.

Now, I don’t necessarily see struggles as setbacks, but as part of the process. They’ve helped build the foundation of Wright Way Painting—not just in skill and experience, but in values, character, and purpose.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Wright Way Painting & Repair Services LLC?
Wright Way Painting & Repair Services is a residential and commercial painting company based right here in Jacksonville, Florida. At the core, we specialize in interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, and all the detailed prep work that most people don’t see; but definitely feel in the final result.

What sets us apart is simple…we actually care. A lot. We’re big on doing things the right way (hence the name), which means we’re not rushing through jobs or cutting corners just to get to the next one. We take our time with prep, we communicate clearly, and we treat people’s homes with respect. That alone has made a huge difference for our clients.

But honestly, one of the biggest things that’s helped shape our brand is how we show up online. Social media has become a space where we get to tell our story in real time. From before-and-after transformations to our “Wright Shade” series where we highlight different paint colors, to just sharing our day-to-day; it gives people a feel for who we are before they ever invite us into their home.

We’re not just posting perfect finished projects; we’re showing the process, the personality, and the people behind the business. That’s been huge for building trust and connection in our community.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that “The Wright Way” has turned into something people get. It’s not just a catchy name—it’s a standard. It means we show up, we do what we say we’re going to do, and we leave things better than we found them.

At the end of the day, we’re not just here to paint walls….we’re here to create an experience that people feel good about from start to finish.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I love most about Jacksonville is the opportunity here. It’s a growing city, but it still has that sense of community where relationships matter. There’s so much room to build something, connect with people, and really make a name for yourself if you’re willing to put in the work. We’ve been able to meet some incredible people through both our business and local events, and that’s been a huge part of our journey.

I also love the mix of lifestyles; you’ve got the beach, different neighborhoods with their own character, and a constant flow of new families and homeowners. For what we do, it’s a great place to grow and serve.

As far as what I like least, I’d say sometimes because it’s such a large, spread-out city, it can feel a little disconnected depending on where you are. But at the same time, that’s also what creates so many different pockets of opportunity.

Overall, Jacksonville has been a great place for us to build…not just a business, but a life; and we’re excited to keep growing here.
