Today we’d like to introduce you to Alan Lowe.
Hi Alan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The idea for the Flagler Voice Podcast Studio was born out of a clear mission: to create a platform capable of reaching a broad and diverse audience with meaningful, community-driven content—without geographic limitations—while providing small and mid-sized businesses access to high-quality, affordable advertising.
What began as a vision has grown into a full-scale, video-first production studio designed to amplify voices, tell important stories, and connect communities across Northeast Florida and beyond. While rooted in the Flagler area, the studio was intentionally built to serve surrounding regions—including Volusia, St. Johns, and neighboring counties—ensuring that businesses and organizations throughout the broader community have a shared platform to be seen and heard.
By leveraging modern streaming technology and digital distribution, the studio removes the traditional boundaries of local media. Content produced in-studio is not confined to a single city or market—it is distributed across multiple online platforms, making it accessible anywhere in the world.
Recognizing that many traditional advertising formats can be more costly and limited in flexibility, the studio was intentionally structured to offer a more accessible and scalable alternative. Businesses are not simply advertising to a local audience—they are building a lasting digital presence with ongoing visibility that extends well beyond their immediate footprint.
Today, Flagler Voice operates as both a content hub and a marketing engine—producing a wide range of programming from sports and business to lifestyle and community issues—while offering integrated, on-screen brand placement that lives indefinitely across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and streaming networks. Powered by the broader vision of the U.S. News and Entertainment Network, the studio continues to grow as a regional media platform with global reach—bringing voices together and delivering content without borders.
We’re locally rooted, regionally inclusive, and globally distributed.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest challenges along the way has been the learning curve. I didn’t come from a media background, and I wasn’t a social media influencer stepping into this with a built-in audience. I had to learn—sometimes the hard way—how to bring together the hardware, software, live production, and digital marketing needed to make this work.
There were definitely moments of trial and error, and times where things didn’t go as planned. But instead of letting that slow us down, I made it a priority to surround myself with people who are strong in the areas where I’m not. That made all the difference. By leaning on the right people and staying committed to figuring it out, we were able to push through those early challenges.
In hindsight, those struggles were actually necessary. They forced us to build something that’s not only functional, but practical and scalable for others.
Today, we’re continuing to grow a platform that gives small and mid-sized businesses—and even individuals who simply have a story to tell—a real opportunity to reach an audience that keeps expanding. It wasn’t built overnight, and it wasn’t perfect from the start, but it’s real, it’s growing, and it’s making an impact.
And in the end, the learning curve didn’t hold us back—it’s exactly what allowed us to build something others can now grow through.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Flagler Voice Podcast Studio is a video-first media platform built to help businesses, organizations, and individuals amplify their voice with professional, broadcast-quality content—without the traditional barriers of cost or access.
We’re not just a studio; we’re a platform. Through our connection with the U.S. News and Entertainment Network, we produce and distribute content across multiple digital channels, allowing what’s created here to reach audiences far beyond any single market.
What sets us apart is the combination of high-end production and real accessibility. Someone can walk in with an idea and leave with content that looks like it belongs on a national stage—and continues working for them long after it’s recorded.
We’re also redefining advertising. Instead of short-lived ads, we focus on integrated brand presence—placing businesses directly into content in a way that’s natural, visible, and lasting.
What I’m most proud of is that this was built from the ground up with a simple purpose: give people a voice and give businesses a better way to be seen. It’s not about being a media giant—it’s about building something real that works.
If there’s one thing readers should know, it’s this: you don’t need to be a professional broadcaster or influencer to have a powerful platform anymore—we’ve made that accessible.
We’re locally rooted, regionally inclusive, and globally distributed.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
What surprises most people is that I didn’t come from media at all. I’m actually a builder by background—a multiple patent holder, with one of my inventions even featured in National Geographic.
I didn’t step into this as a broadcaster or influencer. I learned it from the ground up—figuring out the technology, production, and distribution piece by piece.
But what really carried over is something you can’t teach easily: the ability to make people feel comfortable. Whether someone is promoting a business or telling a personal story, I have a knack for helping them relax, open up, and be themselves on camera.
In a lot of ways, that’s become the secret sauce. The technology matters—but creating an environment where people feel confident enough to share their voice is what makes it work.
