Today we’d like to introduce you to Vivian Harris.
Hi Vivian , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve spent my professional career working in federal contracting and acquisition, but outside of work I was simply someone who loved my dogs and started sharing our everyday adventures online.
What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined. People connected with Noah and Lincoln’s personalities, and over time our mission became clear, to show the incredible bond between people and their dogs, celebrate senior dogs, and help break the stereotypes that often surround bully breeds.
Today, that passion has grown into a community of millions across social media and opportunities to partner with brands I genuinely believe in. While creating content has become an exciting part of my life, my goal has remained the same: to make people smile, encourage responsible pet ownership, and show that every dog deserves to be judged by their character, not their breed.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most things shared on social media, people often see the finished product but not everything happening behind the scenes.
Balancing a full-time federal career while consistently creating content can be challenging, especially when social media is constantly changing. There have also been difficult moments navigating the misconceptions surrounding bully breeds and responding to comments rooted in fear rather than experience.
The biggest challenge, though, has been watching Noah grow older. As a pet parent, you know your time together is limited, and that reality has made every adventure and every video even more meaningful. At the same time, sharing his journey has connected us with so many people going through similar experiences with their own senior dogs.
Those challenges have reinforced why I continue creating content. If we can make someone smile, encourage them to cherish the time they have with their pets, or help change one person’s opinion about bully breeds, then it’s all worth it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My professional journey has been shaped by service. I served in the U.S. Marine Corps before beginning a career in federal service. Along the way, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology, an MBA, and a master’s degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management, which helped prepare me for my current work in federal acquisition and contracting.
Today, I manage complex federal contracts, ensuring projects are executed responsibly and taxpayer dollars are used effectively. It’s a career built on integrity, accountability, and problem-solving, values that have stayed with me throughout my life.
Outside of my profession, I’m also the creator behind Noah & Lincoln. While our videos are meant to entertain, they’ve also become a platform to celebrate senior dogs, encourage responsible pet ownership, and help challenge stereotypes surrounding bully breeds.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a follower count or a job title. It’s knowing that whether through my career or through Noah & Lincoln, I’ve been able to make a positive impact, whether that’s serving the public, inspiring someone to adopt a senior dog, or helping change perceptions about a misunderstood breed.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was always curious and independent. I enjoyed learning, loved being active, and was the kind of person who liked having a goal to work toward. I wasn’t someone who sought the spotlight, but I enjoyed connecting with people and finding ways to help others.
Animals have always been a big part of my life, so it’s not surprising that they eventually became such an important part of my story. Looking back, many of the qualities that shaped me growing up, discipline, resilience, and compassion, are the same ones that led me to military service, a career in public service, and eventually to creating content with Noah and Lincoln.
I don’t think my younger self ever imagined millions of people would one day be watching videos of my dogs, but I do think she’d be proud that it all grew from simply sharing something I genuinely love.
