Hi Razvan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in Romania, at 24, I made my big move to the United States to start my career as a family physician. As a doctor, my focus is on lifestyle, and I find photography goes hand in hand with health and wellbeing. Observing and exploring combined with photography is a form of therapy. My interest in photography began when I started noticing and then carefully searching to capture naturally occurring patterns in the sky and nature. The movement patterns reveal the power of nature and its beauty, which evokes an emotional response. Photography is a dynamic art form. One picture in a room changes the entire room’s energy. My local environment Florida’s East Coast is the primary source of inspiration. My photography illustrates seascapes and landscapes and offers various colors, moods, subjects, and photo techniques. I sell my work in a few local art galleries and online. I offer my work as high-quality canvas prints, metal prints, fine art prints, acrylic or wood up to 90″ in size, and as printed coffee table books, available on www.razgallery.com.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been fairly smooth?
The main challenges for me are staying inspired and avoiding being repetitive when shooting local, in the same locations.

I am a board-certified physician with Millennium Physicians Group in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Practicing internal medicine since 2001, I incorporate the positive benefits of healthy living in patient care with a focus on preventative medicine. Owner of Visual Reflex, my hobby is landscape photography. I am self-taught and spent years perfecting my unique style. In 2019 I was the winner of the international 9th Annual Seascapes Art Exhibition in Palm Springs. My photographs can be viewed and purchased at Village Arts Framing and Gallery in Ponte Vedra Beach and Atlantic Beach Arts Market in Atlantic Beach, Florida. My artwork celebrates the ever-changing “big sky” visible on my daily walks. Colorful seascapes images of local beaches illustrate my love and appreciation for the natural world. St. Augustine, Fl From Dawn to Dusk, my first self-published coffee table book, captures the beauty of that historic city with originality and detail. Enjoy landscape photography that depicts the passage of a single day, from dawn’s first light to the closing moments of the sunset. Beach Dogs is my second self-published coffee table book; view seaside moments through the eyes of our most loyal companion, the pet dog. Some shots are random encounters with water-loving canines. Other pictures introduce named pups enjoying a lively day at the shore. Meet perfect pure breeds, marvelous mixed breeds, and mischievous mutts.
