Check Out Paul Farace’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Farace.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started out as a music producer and touring DJ. As that career progressed I needed promotional photos for events and music releases. I hired a photographer, did the photo shoot and then got the bill! Well it was about the same as a professional camera so I decided why not just get a camera for all the future media we would need. Fast forward several years and here we are. Once I got hooked I couldn’t put my camera down. I eventually settled into Landscape and Nature Photography as I already love and spend most of my time outdoors.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth? What is that? I don’t think anything in life goes smoothly, that is a fairytale! It’s been easy, hard, fun, miserable and everything in between, you name it. And i wouldn’t change it for the world.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Art, business? Somewhere in between there. My medium is Landscape Photography and my business is helping people through photography workshops. I love showing photographers the amazing hidden landscapes of Florida while helping them learn and grow into better artists. I help photographers of all level.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I take many risks all the time. You just have to keep trying things and never stop putting out work. Eventually it sorts itself out. Create with pure intention, focus on helping others and everything usually falls into place. What’s life without risks?

Many times I have dove head first into potential failure. You have to try!
