Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrick McGuire.
Patrick, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been doing magic since I was a little kid, but never really felt comfortable coming up to people to perform, at the time I had a lot of friends who were doing scary clown characters on social media, and I thought to myself, I think the community needs a positive clown, this was in 2018, so I started putting things together but it took a while to design everything, by 2020 I had the entire beginning look for my character but I didn’t start posting until early 2025, there’s been multiple changes and evolutions over the year I been active, but it seems to of really worked out for the better, and I’m extremely blessed
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The only real struggle I went thru was finding my place, trying to find what kind of clown/performer I wanted to be
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in, balloon animals, juggling, and magic tricks, im proud of the fact that I found a way to bring more attention to clowning, and help people realize there’s nothing to be scared of, what sets me apart is I don’t wear makeup, only a red nose and a beard and round coke bottle frame glasses
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
How much works that goes into being a clown, people who watch me and other performers don’t understand how much money and work that goes into doing it, and doing it well
