Today we’d like to introduce you to Nina Duffy.
Hi Nina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was in a rut as far as my career was concerned. I was working in real estate and was no longer happy in this position, I woke up one day and quit. With no plan, I took a few weeks off to figure out my next move. It took a few more weeks to realize what that next step was.
One day while searching it dawned on me that I could make money in esthetics, (Something I’ve been passionate about from the age of 17). After a little research, I was enrolled in a local vocational school (FCTC) in St. Augustine. I graduated in 2019 and haven’t looked back once. I have found my passion and it shines through in every service.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been a very smooth road, things fell into place once the ball got rolling. I’ve been very fortunate.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an esthetician and get to change people’s day, every day. I specialize in getting skin to glow! I work hard with every client to ensure customer satisfaction and real results. I’m proud to say I have gained a loyal customer base and that it continues to grow.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The esthetics industry is going to continue to grow at a very fast pace. I think we are going to see a big trend in microcurrent devices. It’s been around for years but making its way back to the treatment room. I think we will also see a big trend in body contouring.
