Hi Mack, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2015, the OCR Kings started making YouTube videos with the intent to help others to succeed in their fitness journey, especially in running and Obstacle Course Racing. We vow to encourage and assist anyone, regardless of age or level of athleticism.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a long, challenging, and exciting journey, but we are happy to be part of the best community in the world.

We set out to find the best ways to compete in Obstacle Course Races (OCR), like Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, and Rugged Maniac, by creating our own course in the backwoods, after work, at night, after the kids are in bed.
Then we film and share what we learn, hopefully helping people along the way. One of the achievements we are most proud of is filming and successfully completing the Spartan Ultra, a race up to 31 miles in length with 60 obstacles.
Sharing that experience via YouTube has helped others in their quest to conquer the race as well.

Jacksonville is a great place. We love the weather and the people. We have nothing bad to say about the city, as our experiences in Jacksonville have been overwhelmingly positive.
