Hi Kristina & Jerico, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We started doing photography as a husband and wife team in 2016. We had no intentions of photographing weddings full time because we felt we couldn’t handle the pressures of the fast-paced wedding environment. Fast forward to 2021 and now we specialize in weddings.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We believe every business is going to have a roller coaster of a ride and those businesses who are willing to adapt, are the businesses that are going to succeed. No one planned for Covid to have such a devastating impact on the industry.
Many businesses struggled in ways to make ends meet, we were one of the fortunate ones to still be here today after the effects because we were able to adapt and pivot according to the situation at hand.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a husband and wife duo that specializes in wedding photography & videography.
We have been in business since 2016 and are still enjoying every single day as if it were day 1. The things we’re most proud of are the real relationships we’ve established with our couples and we’re forever grateful for having them in our lives because we wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for our couple’s trust. Our couples are the real MVPs of the WOJ brand.
What sets us apart from others is that we center our focus around our couples, we get to know each couple to understand their values and what makes them unique. Not every couple is the same, each couple has their own ideas and values which make them special. Once we understand our couple’s ideals and values we help plan their wedding photos around their visions ensuring the day is stress-free and fun.
