Hi Julissa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Namaste. Wholeness and balance to you all. This is bananas, guys. In my daydreaming, I always wondered what I would say if someone asked me for my story, and now here it is. Unexpectedly manifested right into my reality. Am I surprised? Not really, because I am prepared. That is what manifestation is. It’s when opportunity meets preparation. So here it is, my story on how Good Karma Julie came to manifest. My name is Julissa Peña. One day, somehow, I somehow came across a Tarot Reading on YouTube. This opened the floodgates to the healing of my soul. That’s right; it started from the inside out. I always thought so little of myself. Probably because of my immigrant background and very humble beginnings. I thought I wasn’t talented, pretty, or rich enough to be anyone special. The day my Heavenly Father awakened me to my soul is the day all of that started to change. It’s been a rocky, long road. Some days I would go a few steps back, some days, I would leap forward, but I was growing and progressing all the time. I dove head first into all things esoteric. I came face to face with The Divine. They told me that every experience I’ve gone through as a little girl, my romantic experiences, and the societal conditioning was a part of the plan. The Angels assured me that my Heavenly Father created my heart and that it was unconditionally loved and unbreakable. Now that I was aware of the power in my heart, I hold this particular bible quote very close to me: Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” The Divine showed me the limitless supply of Strength and Light that is available to me. I went ocean-deep in learning about meditation, fasting, the Chakras, and what true unconditional love means. The Angels showed me confidence, faith, and how to surrender to God’s will. I learned about the stars and my connection to ancient Egypt. In the East, Karma is understood, and many practices good deeds because they understand karma. My Heavenly Father made it clear that I would become an expert in the subject. I understood that the reason we even exist is due to karma. I learned from Eckhart Tolle that Karma ends when you stop yourself from reacting to a situation and respond instead. My readings provide clarity to a present, past, or future situation which opens you to a higher perspective. Once you have this clarity, you may respond to your confusion or frustration instead of reacting. This act alone clears a lot of karma, and you will feel the weight lifted off your shoulders. You will feel the love and peace of God flowing through you in a much stronger sense. You’ll feel inspired and motivated to continue living this way and then teaching others. Good Karma Julie changed my life because it gave me purpose. That is my gift from God, purpose. I get to serve The Holy Kingdom through my own heart and soul. The purpose is the only thing in life that brings true joy and peace.
Would it have been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The challenges and obstacles are what I am most proud of. My challenges have been grand, but I’ve been granted mercy, grace, and strength. The obstacles put in my way, whether they have been people, places, or things, have never been more than what I can handle. I don’t think I was ready for half of the crap I went through, but I was built for it. I want to paint this picture as colorful as possible for you. It was an entire death and rebirth process, metaphorically speaking. Julissa Peña experienced an emotional, mental and spiritual death. Then, there was the birth of Good Karma Julie. Also, since I started this journey, I’ve lost a lot of weight and transformed my lifestyle, so it’s also been a physical rebirth. The road has been dark at times, but I never lost the light because I knew that I was the light itself. I never gave up, and I never will. That is how grateful I am to my Source and Creator for my purpose and dream. I’d say the biggest struggle was learning to build boundaries, and I’m actually in the process of freeing myself of procrastination. I see great improvement, and by maintaining a positive mindset, I see how that will be a thing of the past.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I hail from the Caribbean waters of the Dominican Republic. My Afro-Latino ancestral DNA bloodline is blessed with the calling of serving humanity. It is an honor to serve my Heavenly Father’s Kingdom. I have several gifts passed down to me by my Abuela on my mother’s side. My dad also is blessed with supernatural gifts from God. I was raised with both my Abuela and my dad speaking words of power, wisdom, and esoteric information to me. I went through life not being seen or heard by many. I stayed to myself, but I knew my day would come. My gifts from God include but are not limited to; empath abilities, clairvoyance, clairaudient, and healing. I’ve grown to expand and truly build a bond with my gifts. I am happy to help and serve you, for it is God’s will.
