Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Webber.
Hi Erin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began photography as a wedding photographer back in 2006. Around 2012 I met with a bride who was very nervous, I was afraid for her making it down the aisle! She asked if I would take some “lingerie pics” and I looked up some quick inspo online and just did a short 30 session in her bedroom. Just showing her the photos from the back of the camera, she changed! She became confident young woman! This is when I knew I had to figure out this whole boudoir thing!!
Fast forward to 2020 I started an in-home studio at our new home in Citra. Eventually, we purchased a new building and it’s been an exciting experience ever since!!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Typical struggles of finding new clients in a rural setting. Developing trust with clients. We have a local Girls Night Out monthly event that has really helped in these areas.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a luxury boudoir photographer for women and couples, I offer a complete experience including spray tanning, charcuterie lunches, and viewing your final portraits the same day. I’m most proud of my luxe albums I deliver, as they are memories held forever, time frozen.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I get a lot of clients from the Jacksonville area, none with complaints!! The ease of reach for everything is a plus!
