Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Soul
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
At its core, creativity is an act of remembrance—a bridge between soul and world.”
That belief inspired the creation of Elizabeth Soul—a cruelty-free, luxe tattoo and art movement dedicated to transforming self-expression into a sacred, living embodiment of the divine.
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Soul—tattoo artist, fine artist, and soul-driven entrepreneur. For the past two years, I’ve had the honor of creating in Jacksonville, Florida.
Originally from New Jersey, I spent eight years immersed in the creative pulse of New York City, followed by two more in the beautiful Los Angeles. Each place shaped my artistry, but it was moving to Florida that marked a deeper shift.
Here, I chose a slower, more intentional way of living—one that prioritizes connection, presence, and alignment. This is what has allowed me to tap into and begin to develop the sacred empire that has lived inside of me all along.
Art has always been a sacred calling for me.
I remember this one particular memory, when I was a kid, about ten years old, and I was flying to Florida with my dad to visit my grandfather. It felt like such an exciting experience — just my Dad and I, leaving New Jersey and traveling to somewhere so warm, bright, and full of possibility. It was a whole new world.
On that two hour flight, I pulled out a piece of paper and started drawing my heart onto the page. I sketched a portrait of a girl — not just any girl, but the girl inside me, who was coming alive in that moment. She felt… magical — lifted by air, flying into the unknown, alive with possibility.
I felt undefined, untouchable, limitless. Like the vastness of the future was reaching for me, and I was now reaching back.
The girl I drew carried that same feeling — she looked back at me from the paper with a deep, quiet knowing that everything inside her was going to one day unfold. She was at peace because she was starting to feel created. Starting to feel seen. Starting to feel chosen. She was me.
This was when I felt the true power of art.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not—and I choose to believe that every obstacle has been fuel for my mission.
The force that has carried me through every difficult season is my “North Star”—that unwavering inner knowing that exists beyond logic, fear, or circumstance.
When I first set out to become a tattoo artist, the path was anything but clear. Securing an apprenticeship was difficult, and without a strong support system, I had to learn how to become my own source of strength.
The defining moment came during a walk along the ocean. I closed my eyes, placed my hands on my heart, and asked the universe for guidance.
The answer came immediately and unequivocally:
“Get a tattoo machine.”
That one download shifted the entire trajectory of my life.
It wasn’t about the machine itself—it was about choosing a path that would demand the highest version of me, one that maybe only I could understand at the time.
I eventually left an apprenticeship that didn’t support my growth. It was a hard choice, but one that affirmed my spirit’s strength. Day by day, I built my foundation. And today, no one can take it from me—because I created it in full alignment with my truth.
Every challenge became an initiation. Every doubt became trust. Every closed door refined my path. Where I am now is living proof of what happens when you trust your soul’s deepest blueprint more than anyone else’s map.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
This year, I’m stepping fully into my highest expression as an artist—pioneering a new era in tattooing rooted in ethical beauty, soul-led leadership, and art as a pathway to ascension.
I’m in the beginning stages of launching my first physical studio—a sanctuary that embodies my brand and serves as an awakening space for transformation. This high-end, cruelty-free studio will specialize in ornamental blackwork: refined, intentional designs that move with the body like living adornment, attuned to each client’s soul frequency.
It is more than just a studio. It’s a movement.
My vision is to help every person who walks through our doors reconnect with their divine essence—leaving not just adorned in art, but fully awakened to their conscious power.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love about Jacksonville is its hidden oasis feeling.
It offers the lushness of a tropical lifestyle, the intimacy of a smaller city, and the space to build something extraordinary from the ground up.
After years in high-speed cities, Jacksonville has given me the gift of alignment and intention.
That said, coming from cities like New York and Los Angeles, I do miss the more progressive culture.
I believe deeply in freedom, evolution, and compassion—and I stand against any forces that perpetuate ignorance or oppression.
Still, I see every environment as an opportunity. The contrast only sharpens my vision. It reminds me why my brand exists. As a beacon. As a movement.
It’s here to usher in a new era of consciousness, radical love, and divine innovation.
