Today we’d like to introduce you to Alan & Jacqueline Dalla Rosa.
Hi Alan & Jacqueline , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Abbracci Wellness Center began with a simple but powerful vision: creating a place where healing wasn’t just about treating illness, (no “bandaid medicine”) but about embracing health as a way of life. The name “Abbracci,” Italian for “embrace/hugs”, reflected what the we wanted every person to feel when they walked through the doors — acceptance, compassion, and care.
The idea took root years ago when my husband and I realized that Western medicine often overlooked the emotional and preventive aspects of wellness. We saw patients recovering from injuries or illnesses but struggling to find balance once they left traditional care settings. Our personal story arose when my son was diagnosed with autism, and they kept trying to push medications on him to “stop him from acting out”. “What was he doing?” you may ask. He was hugging people. His way of expressing himself was through love and compassion for others. That was looked at as “acting out”. As being “aggressive” and they wanted to have him medicated for it. Through our regenerative medicine journey, we were able to implement so many different practices to help him heal from the inside- making him a functional individual. Out of that recognition came the desire to build a space that blended medical insight with holistic practices — one that could truly support body, mind, and spirit.
At Abbracci, every treatment, every conversation, every plan is grounded in that founding belief: healing begins with an embrace — of oneself, one’s health, and one’s future.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey of building Abbracci Health has certainly not been an easy one. In fact, the road has been filled with challenges, especially in introducing a concept that goes beyond traditional medicine. Many people initially resisted the idea that wellness could be achieved through regenerative, holistic methods rather than a quick fix or a prescription. The belief that health improvement should happen instantly, instead of through gradual, sustainable care, has been one of the greatest hurdles.
Education was another challenge. Helping the community understand that our approach is not alternative, but complementary and evidence-based, has required time, trust, and patience. It has meant taking each conversation as an opportunity to explain how regenerative therapies, nutrition, and preventive medicine can transform long-term health.
There have been moments of doubt and obstacles that tested our commitment (flood from one of our machines, our identity being stolen, theft from our business and personal accounts due to the identity theft, life)— but they also strengthened our purpose. Every patient success story, every breakthrough, reminds us why we started Abbracci Health in the first place: to redefine what true healing looks like and to create a culture where wellness isn’t about shortcuts, but about embracing health fully and intentionally.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Abbracci Wellness Center was built on a simple but powerful belief — that true healing begins when people feel seen, supported, and embraced. “Abbracci” means “embrace” in Italian, and that word perfectly reflects what we stand for: compassion, connection, & a genuine commitment to helping people rediscover their best selves—as I always say “from the inside out”. Both of us come from the emergency department, both realizing that sadly, we were part of the revolving door of medicine. We weren’t fixing anyone, just patching them up and sending them on their way. Therefore—-
Our journey started with a vision to change the way health and wellness are approached. Too often, medicine focuses on quick fixes — a prescription, a procedure, a temporary solution- Our “band-aid” society. At Abbracci, we wanted to create something different. A place where healing isn’t rushed but respected; where the body’s incredible ability to restore itself is encouraged through regenerative and functional care.
We specialize in treatments that help the body heal naturally — restoring energy, balance, and longevity from the inside out. From regenerative therapies to hormone optimization and personalized wellness programs, our work combines science with compassion. But what truly sets us apart is our philosophy: we take the time to listen, to understand, and to walk alongside every person in their journey toward health.
What we’re most proud of are the transformations we witness every day — not just physical, but emotional. Seeing a patient regain strength, sleep better, feel confident again — that’s why we do what we do. Abbracci Wellness Center isn’t just a place of care; it’s a community of healing, empowerment, and hope. Our goal is that that is noted by those that walk through our door. We aren’t just another business, it becomes a family. A tribe.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
We are big believers that progress doesn’t happen without taking risks. Our entire mission began as one: challenging the conventional mindset that health must come from quick fixes or medication alone. Starting an integrative wellness center in a world that still leans heavily on traditional medicine required faith, courage, and a willingness to be misunderstood.
The major risk we took was believing in something different — investing in regenerative and preventive health before it became mainstream, knowing that education and trust would take time to build. There have been many moments when skepticism and uncertainty made the journey feel uphill, but we trusted what we saw in our patients: real healing, real transformation. That trust has become our compass.
We haven’t seen risk as “reckless”, (something one of our co-workers once said), but rather, it’s been about “alignment”. It has been about asking ourselves “what if we don’t take this chance?: For us, risk has meant standing by our belief in regenerative medicine, finding better ways to heal, even though it takes longer and it is a harder path to take. It has not been an easy road for us starting something so new as mere healthcare providers, but, this risk, if nothing else, embodies the courage, innovation and heart that we have.
