Hi awilda, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
INTEGRITY.
I am that person who likes to be honest about what I think, and my word is my bond. My actions match my values, and the trust and confidence I have built around my name and integrity are something no one can take from me. It guides me to do what’s right, even when no one’s watching.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Awilda Quezada “La Tremenda” is a Dominican-born performer redefining the sound of modern merengue. Since landing in the U.S. in 2010, she’s been captivating audiences with her powerhouse vocals and fearless fusion of merengue típico, clasic y de calle.
Special cause she is More than just a singer, Awilda is a dynamic entertainer whose stage presence, charisma, and cultural pride shine through every performance. Her music bridges generations, blending tradition with a bold,
contemporary twist that makes her impossible to ignore. Whether in an intimate lounge or on a festival stage, Awilda delivers a show that’s vibrant, soulful, and unforgettable.
Awilda Quezada’s working in new song is gonna be a HIT and is a merengue like hers, a powerful one.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My first theater teacher taught me how to dance, act, sew, and always told me that the stage you go on stage, you respect it, sing in all kinds of stages with 1 public and more, and I realized that I love the entertainment world. Sometimes is hard to see how family gets tired of watching you do what you love and then recognize that if I am happy, that’s what matters, so I will keep doing it cause God always shows me what door I need to open and close.

Thanks for always believing in me, for being kind to me, and for kicking my ass when nobody’s there, and for love everything, the bad mood and the good.

I have one face if I feel happy, I will be public or not, if I am sad, I will not be public, but if you know me, you will see in my eyes the truth, you can count on me, trust me, public or not.
If I give my word or do something in my name, count on that.
I am not real, I am unique.

When I listen to spiritual Christian music, it gives me a lot of peace and I do that every day while I’m driving.
