Rising Stars: Meet Britt & Kristen Rogers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Britt & Kristen Rogers. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Identical sisters, Britt and Kristen (The Willow Sisters) have been singing together since they were three years old. They have been performing together for years playing at festivals, private parties, weddings, listening rooms, restaurants, and bars throughout Florida with their bandmates (Michael Bennick on guitar and Eastman Curtis on the djembe/ukulele).

These Jacksonville-based artists/songwriters knew entertaining was in their blood at an early age. Their parents built a stage in their backyard for them to perform for the neighborhood. They sang in church and pretty much anywhere they could fostering their talents. Their grandfather yodeled and their Great Aunt was a folk musician; thus, much of their musical foundation comes from these inspirational family members.

They frequently travel to Nashville and Miami to write, record and work on their craft. They have collaborated with many talented artists & producers, including 56x Platinum 2x Grammy Awarded producer Vinny Venditto.

They also topline write for DJs/producers and other artists. Merging pop melodies with electronic influences, they enjoy mixing genres with no rules. Being identical twin sisters, you will hear a distinct harmonic sound when you listen to the blend of their voices.

They released their debut single, “Some Type of High” in May 2019 and their upcoming project will be a transcendent and vulnerable experience for the ears. They aim to connect to their listeners on a brand new level!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
They both have corporate careers, yet most of their free time is devoted to music.

They spend countless hours songwriting with their team, recording, and traveling… but they wouldn’t have it any other way! Music is their passion and their destiny.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The Willow Sisters are known for their harmonic melodies. The twins are set apart because they write for all genres and are not afraid to try out new ideas creatively and sonically.

They are most proud of their extensive catalog of 35+ unreleased songs and are gearing up to shop them for various A&Rs, publishers, and music industry professionals.

How do you define success?
The twin’s definition of success is being able to make and share their music with a multitude of listeners. They want to continue to collaborate with the best in the industry, get sync placements, and connect with their audience.
