Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Bowman.

Hi Andrea, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I first started managing talent within my family then others started reaching out to me to help them grow so, I began managing their talent as well. I became passionate and driven about helping talent reach their goals but then the other side of the industry kicked in, some of the talents I had on my roster ended up leaving, or other life circumstances would occur which would leave me in a situation where I have all my passion and drive but no talent, so I formed a talent management company that manages talent, brands, and events.

This plan allowed me to utilize the 20 years of management experience I had gained from working for companies, businesses, labels, and corporations and apply it to help others achieve their business goals, so I formed Andrea’s talent management.

Andrea’s talent management was founded in 2017 as a centralized talent management
and agency that talent, brands, and events can rely on for quality, reliable management. Our team consists of a team of 7+ dedicated, hands-on agents who work together collectively to provide the best management experience to our clients. #atm is creative, innovative and one of the fastest-growing talent management agencies whose clients range from actors, dancers, models, singers, celebrities, brands, and events.

We have experience working behind the scenes for events involving celebrities such as Faith Evans, Stevie J, Ykosiris, DMX, Keith Sweat, and had the pleasure of managing celebrities like Curtis Snow from the movie, “Snow on Tha Bluff”. Talent like  J’amore, She`, Zoee, Bar-Code, Tim Cliftonville, Tiana Vanae, JoJo O’Neal, Jonnie Kae, Nala’s Den, Mansu Musa Music, W.A.W.G, and many more.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road at all but it’s been very rewarding. When I started my company, there was no one doing the same thing as me, so I learned everything the hardest way possible lol. Initially, I started out completely solo, as time progressed, I learned about the many resources out there for people like me, so I began going to workshops, joining other organizations that would help me to better help our talent, events, and brands.

I understood the management portion of managing but learning the business side of starting a nontraditional company like my own was a different monster. Thankfully, I have those resources I’ve established early on. As time progressed, more managers saw my vision, they joined me and we’ve been on a consistent journey of managing talent, brands, and events.

Outside of our talent and brands our #ATM team is what makes the best part of our journey even better because we experience the lows, and celebrate the highs together.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Andrea’s Talent Management?
Andrea’s Talent Management has over 20+ years of managing talent, we’re designed to help make the lives of talent, event holders, and brands simpler by utilizing our expertise to simply get the job done. We promote, market, brand, and advertise talent getting them booked for paid opportunities, we manage events hiring and booking everyone needed to make your event great, for the brands we work for hand and hand with innovatively creating ways to enhance their brand which ultimately increases their value.

The thing that sets us apart from others is that what we do is nontraditional we get to set new standards within the music and entertainment industry. As the CEO, I make sure I’m always professional, courteous, and I go above and beyond for my clients… I teach our managers the same, they, in turn, teach our talent the same, so we got this really cool system going on which is what’s needed.

When I first started out, I came across scammers, rude people, and people that really weren’t as serious as you thought they were… these are some of the many reasons I founded #ATM, so customers will always have a quality company that’s all about them and their management needs.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I come from a church family, my grandfather was a preacher… They all taught me to put God first and pray in all that I do which has helped me to be a little bolder than most. I’m not afraid to do anything or talk to anyone because I know at the end of the day that whatever happens, I feel confident because I’ve prayed beforehand.
