Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Cabrera.
Hi Sabrina, thanks for sharing your story with us. For starters, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am 13 years old, I spent most of my life in my native country, Venezuela, Caracas. I have been in the US for 8 months, I live with my mom and dad, and my brother lives nearby. A large part of my family is in Venezuela, that is why from time to time we make video calls, to tell each other about our days and get to know each other.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story: has it been an easy road overall, and if not, what were the challenges you had to overcome?
It can be said that it has been a bit hard, but we are people of great faith and we have really been very well received in this country, we had some ups and downs, like any person when they make changes in their life, but we continue to stand for new experiences and doors.
Thanks, so what else should our readers know about your work and what you are currently focused on?
I love drawing, I have liked it a lot since I was little, I have been improving little by little, but I still have many things to learn. My mom has been a unique support in my growth and development as an artist and as a person. I am very grateful to God for my artistic talent and I would like to be able to improve it and I would also like, if possible, to use it to help abandoned and abused children.
We would be interested to hear her thoughts on luck and what role, if any, she thinks she has played for you.
Mom has taught me that luck doesn’t exist, that God exists and… God has been very good to us… I want to grow and for that, I recently created an Instagram account with my relatives, and since it has grown rapidly, thanks to that account I have had the opportunity to be in this interview…really thank you very much for interviewing me.
Many blessings to all.
