Hi Inna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Inna Kolt, and I’ve been passionate about beauty and precision for as long as I can remember. I started my journey in the beauty industry in 2009 in Crimea, specializing in eyelash extensions. Over the years, I continuously invested in my education and professional growth—training with top experts, mastering new techniques, and participating in international competitions.
In 2015, I expanded into permanent makeup, and by 2018, I was studying safe tattoo removal. Each step of my career has been driven by a desire to offer my clients not only beautiful results but also the safest and most advanced techniques. I developed a signature permanent makeup technique called “Natural Powder Brows” and “One Tweezer” eyelash extensions.
After relocating to the United States in 2022, I quickly established myself in Palm Coast, Florida. Within two years, I opened my own studio, and was honored to be invited as a judge at major industry competitions in USA.
Today, I hold multiple licenses, over 40 certifications, and a full client base. I offer high-end services in PMU, laser removal, and hair removal, and I train other professionals through personalized masterclasses. My mission is to elevate beauty standards by combining artistry with safety, education, and integrity.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. My journey has been filled with challenges, sacrifices, and fresh starts. I was forced to leave my home in Crimea after the Russian occupation, which brought fear, repression, and uncertainty for people like me who didn’t support the regime.
I relocated to Kyiv to rebuild my life and continue growing my career. But when the full-scale war began in 2022, I had to leave once again—this time for the safety of my children. We moved to Germany, where we stayed for three months before continuing our journey to the United States.
Starting over in America was incredibly difficult. I didn’t speak English, I had no friends or family here, and no professional connections. It was my third time starting from zero in a new country, with nothing but my experience and determination.
Each step took tremendous courage, but it also made me stronger and more focused. Today, I’ve built a successful business in Florida, developed my own techniques, and earned recognition in the beauty industry—all through hard work, resilience, and an unshakable belief in my purpose.

For me, success isn’t just about titles, income, or recognition — it’s about the ability to create a meaningful life doing what I love while helping others feel confident, empowered, and inspired.
Success means building something from nothing, especially when you’ve had to start over more than once — in a new country, a new language, and without any support system. It’s about staying true to your values, constantly learning, and never giving up no matter how difficult the journey gets.
I feel successful when my clients leave my studio feeling beautiful and confident. I feel successful when my students achieve their goals using the knowledge I’ve shared with them. And I feel successful when I can look back at everything I’ve overcome and know that I’ve built a life of purpose and resilience — not just for myself, but for my children, too.
