Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrell Johnson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Terrell I am a drummer- Artist Born and raised in Jax Florida. Letting my mom and granny tell it My Musical journey started at 9 months that was the age I got my first kiddy drum-set! lol, through my younger years I would be the last chosen when it came to playing for the choir or services I didn’t let that stop I continued to grow and learn by middle school I was playing at my home church all the time! And of course I was happy but I knew that wasn’t the end all for me! By the time I reached high school I had the opportunity to play for Major gospel artist such as , Rev Clay Evan’s, Meachum Clarke, Deitrick haddon and many more. During high school I didn’t perform as much because I played football and had 7 scholarships, After I graduated high school during my first semester at Edward Waters I received an opportunity to to perform in Beijing china for 6 months. I backed out of college and left Jax and went to china to grow not just musically but spiritually as well. today I can say that move was the best at the time!. Today I am currently apart of multiple projects working with multiple artists and Writing my own music. 2025 will be my breakout Year!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Tbh not having support can be a bother! But when you look yourself in the mirror and be honest that’s the best motivation you could give yourself!!… One thing learning as I get older, nobody will do it for you, You gotta do it for YOU!

I am drummer and producer! I’m very good at playing drums/ Teaching Drums/recording/Mixing and very hands on !
I’m very proud of how strong my work ethic has become from this! It’s easy to quit. Once you see where you want to be it’s no reason to give up! (Push through)
I’m also good at tuning and cleaning drums! I’m very good at learning music as well lol
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My drive, My integrity, how much I care, how much I love! And how much I wanna see other around me flourish and look good and Sound good!
