Exploring Life & Business with Kelly Winter of Palm Coast Pet Sitters LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Winter

Kelly, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my pet care business 5 years ago as the sole care provider, with the intention of simply making sure any animal in my care would be safe, protected and loved. I had a background in animal care and wanted to put it back into practice and follow my calling of helping people and pets.

My business quickly became known for providing high quality care and being very professional. Our client list started growing exponentially. I quickly hired my first helper in year one. Fast forward to today, and I have a team of 17 professional pet sitters and the largest pet care company in my County.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The challenges have been there, most certainly. One of the biggest was keeping up with demand. We have been extremely lucky in finding our fantastic team but it takes a lot of time to find the right people. Contrary to popular belief, not anyone can do this job. We take our responsibilities of caring for pets very seriously and our team members need to align with our values.

We’ve been impressed with Palm Coast Pet Sitters LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are the largest pet care business in Flagler County, Florida. We specialize in in-home pet care, but we also offer boarding, daycare, drop in visits, walks, cat/bird/reptile care, cross country pet transport and other specialized services.

Our team is Pet CPR/First Aid trained, as well as licensed, bonded and insured for our client’s protection.

We are very proud of our all-5 star rating and that our customers continue to entrust us with the care of their pets.

We are known as professionals in our field, separating us from many others who don’t have the expertise and training that we do.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is the trust that is given to us in providing care for our client’s pets – and their homes – and how that is a privilege that we don’t take for granted. We want to show our clients what professional pet care looks like and exceed their expectations every single time. Keeping their pets safe, happy and healthy is our number one goal.
