Hi Lindsay, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I spent many years in the financial services and insurance industries. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with many skilled trades and contractors as an insurance adjuster. I noticed many times that they were short staffed or having issues with finding qualified employees. After researching for about nine months, I decided that The Blue Collar Recruiter and Virtual Trade School was a good fit.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have just started here in Jacksonville, so it is still new and we are trying to get our name out there. So far, the local businesses and the skilled trades community has been very receptive to our services and our ability to assist with both employee placement and training!

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success for us is a placement where everyone wins! Our client, the employer is happy with the candidate we have brought to them and the candidate is happy with a new job that provides stability and job satisfaction. At the end of the day, we are helping businesses grow and be more profitable.
