Hi Amanda, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My fitness journey began in 2017 when I was introduced to a CrossFit-style gym, which sparked my passion for exercise. While I initially struggled with maintaining healthy eating habits, I was able to lose approximately 30 pounds. After becoming pregnant, I found it challenging to stay consistent with my fitness routine. However, in late 2022, I renewed my commitment to health and discovered a passion for strength training and macro-based nutrition. This approach helped me achieve a total weight loss of 80 pounds. I am now preparing to compete in my first bodybuilding competition within the next couple of years and have recently launched a side business offering online fitness coaching.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not! My health and fitness journey has been anything but linear. There have been moments of exhaustion and monotony, but I’ve learned to lean on discipline rather than motivation—because I’m committed to the results I know are possible.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I just launched my own online coaching business and have taken on two clients so far while always working full time. I inspire to eventually be able to do this full time by growing my social media. I think what sets me apart, is having lost 80 pounds on my own, I’m able to understand the struggle and mindset and can offer compassion, while also giving you a swift kick in the tale to get it done.
