Hi Gilesa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I knew as a little girl that I was powerful but I didn’t understand why or who it came from. As I got older I researched my own family history and African Spirituality. I knew I had the power to create anything but fear and doubt clouded my mind. Someone I loved reminded me everyday that I am perfect the way I am and that I can be anything I want to be! Her believing in me helped me believe in myself! I feel like I was sent to help heal people and that’s what brought me where I am now!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Ha! Smooth road? Absolutely not! However I don’t regret it at all. Spirituality isn’t just waist beads and sticking your feet in the dirt. It’s about connecting to your true self! I’ve lost alot on this road but I also gained even more than I lost! I have struggles like anyone does and I get upset, but I keep pushing because someone once told me “Everything always works out for me!”

DaRealWitchesShop is a spiritual business that offers voodoo/hoodoo services. I offer Readings, Rituals, Spells, Spiritual Coaching, and prayer sessions. You can cry, scream, vent to me. It’s not just about voodoo, but it’s also about healing. I’ve helped people heal who were thinking of suicide, bringing families back together and helping people make money! I speak life back into people and help them be who they need to be!
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Deciding to make a business alone was risktaking. I had so many fears and doubts when it came to this. What if it doesn’t work? What if I fail? The thing about me is, I am someone who is willing to try something. Even if I fail at it, at least I know I tried. I took that step four years ago to start my business and it’s the best decision I ever made. I’ve connected with a lot of people and helped a lot of people, and I’m so grateful and blessed to be able to do so.
