Hi Jodi, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
VolunteerJAX recruitment services began in 2017. Starting with 100 volunteers in a Facebook group and now reaches up to 4,000 members. Our service is grant-funded program that provides support to Non-profit organizations seeking volunteers. We seek to create the perfect volunteer match finding the right organization that inspires the individuals to want to give back to their community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Piloting the first ever Volunteer Expo has been a smooth process, however, the struggles include promoting the event and helping people understand the goal in an event that has never been created in our community.

Our team has a true passion for connecting the community. Helping volunteers find their perfect match is our priority, but we also enjoy serving our community alongside the amazing volunteer recruits! The need in Northeast Florida is extensive, and we have set our mission to fill the need one volunteer at a time.

Completing community service projects with the Girl Scouts and Senior Centers.
