Sure! My journey with Bosphorus Crochet started because I love handmade crafts and creating unique crochet designs. I have always enjoyed making things with my hands. At first, I made crochet pieces for my friends and family.
I started this business with my sister-in-law Esra Sipahi, and we work together. As more people wanted our products, we decided to turn our hobby into a small business. We focus on crochet bags, blankets, and children’s items. We sell online and at local markets, where we meet customers who love handmade designs.
Today, Bosphorus Crochet is growing, and we are happy to share our work with others. It has been a great journey with challenges and learning experiences. We are very thankful for the support from our customers and community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like any small business, we have faced many challenges. In the beginning, it was hard to find the right materials and learn how to price our products. We also had to figure out how to reach customers and grow our business.
Another challenge was time management. Since we make everything by hand, it takes a lot of time to complete orders while also managing social media and sales.
Despite these struggles, we never gave up. We kept learning, improving, and working hard. Now, we are proud of how far we have come, and we are excited for the future!
