Check Out Emiah Fultz’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emiah Fultz

Hi Emiah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi. My name is Emiah Fultz I am a content creator/ beauty influencer. I am most known for my hair tutorials which have went viral on tiktok, instagram etc. I love to show styles that women & young girls can wear. I like to showcase these styles for them in ways that make them feel comfortable while protecting their hair and looking beautiful in their natural element. I also do fashion hauls and makeup tutorials as well as nails, teaching women and young girls how to “DIY”for everything! I started 5 years ago and never went back. It truly has changed my life being able to inspire other women and help them go natural. I’ve worked with huge companies such as; Cantù, Shea moisture, TGIN etc. and working with these companies has been a pleasure and knowing i was being noticed to even get these partnerships was amazing. I stayed consistent and consistent and earned my spot on social media and I am grateful for everyone who follows me and every brand who sponsored me!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course it’s not smooth. Nothing is ever easy but I worked for it. Being consistent was key and is what brought me this far. Some times I couldn’t meet a deadline for a video or sometimes the video needed to many revisions, and in most cases the hate comments I got was insane. I would always look at them and sometimes respond. But I realize they were just giving me more fame! So I over looked them and kept moving cause I knew I was still inspiring young women out there.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Alongside being a beauty influencer, I have a side hustle which is crochet. I’ve been crocheting for a few years and have made a business out of it over the past year. I do monthly markets and have my own Etsy shop and I’ve done so well! It takes up most of my time along with creating content but it’s all worth it.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory would be when I first learned how to crochet. I kept practicing and practicing and made my first headband! I self taught myself because I wanted a new hobby that was different and could benefit me. I started making headbands first which I would sell to my sisters friends at school for $4. I was making money lol. And if I never picked up that hook and started I wouldn’t have the amazing crochet business I have today.
