Hidden Gems: Meet James Zielenski of Coastal Chiropractic Clinic

Today we’d like to introduce you to James Zielenski.

James Zielenski

Thank you for joining us today to share your unique journey in chiropractic care. Could you take us back to the moment that sparked your interest in this field?
I became interested in Chiropractic care when I was in high school. During a hockey game, I injured my neck and shoulder. I had trouble lifting my arm and using my hand. My mom brought me to the Chiropractor the next day. After my first visit, I noticed such an improvement. After continuing care through high school and talking to my Chiropractor, I decided I wanted to help others regain and maintain their health with chiropractic care.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It hasn’t been too rough. After graduating, I interned in Colorado, but that didn’t end in the job I had hoped. I then waited and found a job across the country in North Carolina. It was great, and I was able to meet my wife. After some time, we realized it was time to open our own practice, and through our journey and searching, we were led to our new home in Yulee.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Coastal Chiropractic Clinic is a chiropractic clinic that focuses on getting and keeping our patients healthy. Dr. Zielenski is certified in Active Release Techniques(ART), a soft tissue technique that aims to break up adhesive tissue and release tension in the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nervous system. It successfully treats those chronic injuries and issues that no one seems to have an answer for. We also do chiropractic adjustments, other techniques (Webster, FaKTR, rock tape, SFMA, FMS), and corrective exercises to help our patients improve. Our goal is to keep our patients as active as they want!

How do you define success?
Success is providing for my family, being part of the community, and helping people. I want to be a part of our community and be known as the place to go if you want to get your health back or keep active, as well as be able to give back to the community in youth athletics, local charities, and other areas in need. By doing this, I consider myself successful.
