Meet Robin Wilt of Shed Some Light on It

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robin Wilt.

Robin Wilt

Hi Robin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
Sometimes, I should pinch myself. Never in a million years have I thought I would be doing spiritual or whoo-whoo stuff for a living. Before this chapter of my story, I was a pencil-pushing accountant type for almost 20 years. Then, about 8 years ago, things drastically changed in my life, and I started looking for greater, deeper meaning and healing. All at once, I had my life fall down around me, and I realized I needed something deeper than traditional therapy. I began studying Reiki, energy work, hypnotherapy, astrology – really anything I could learn about in the spiritual field. I was in love with all the out-there esoteric stuff. I started having various gifts come online in my mind, body, and soul. Like, who knew that I was a psychic, channeling healer?! I certainly didn’t. I was afraid at moments that I might be losing my mind; so much of my awakening felt like it was so surreal. But alas, I was really finding “it” instead of losing anything. I was shedding everything that kept me from being my most authentic, authentic, amazing self, and I started really being me. This embodiment of myself, my power, and my gifts have allowed me to show up and help others do the same.

There came a point in time, when working for the proverbial man (or corporate America) was too much for me and two years ago, and I took the leap into entrepreneurship. I just had this overwhelming desire and pull towards helping others to overcome limitations in their lives. I wanted to help clients to get to the root of the issues they were having. Since I have a background in finance, and I love all things numbers and money, it was a natural step to combine my practical knowledge with my spiritual abilities to help clients overcome and heal wounds around self-worth and money and move past blockages in their businesses.

It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I have definitely faced my share of challenges along the way. Leaving the safety and security of my job brought up so many wounds around money, success, and self-worth that I didn’t know were there. In hindsight, I might have waited a bit longer to leap from corporate to business owner, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love what I do and know that anything I have learned firsthand and overcome helps my clients so much more. I have learned so much about my own resiliency and have overcome and healed so many things that my clients are also healing through. I don’t know about you, but I would much rather learn from someone who has overcome the same issues I’m struggling with than someone who is just giving lip service.

Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
In my services, I combine the power of my intuition, healing, and psychic abilities to help clients identify and address the subconscious reasons behind their money habits. We work to uncover and transform the underlying beliefs, emotions, and thought patterns affecting their business and financial behaviors. I use various metaphysical tools and provide a safe space where clients can be vulnerable and open up to heal and move forward. There is so much shame around money and debt that oftentimes, clients have massive shifts just from being able to openly share their current financial situation. I use a lighthearted but super-effective approach in my services. I love getting to the root of the energies, beliefs, and patterns that sabotage you from being and having the very best in your life. And not to toot my own horn (but I will for a moment), I provide a really powerful and safe space that helps clients to see dramatic and lasting shifts in their lives. I just love seeing clients heal, grow and expand in their businesses and financial lives. I mean, let’s face it – money is such a central them to all of our lives but something that most of us are not taught to deal with in a healthy way.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is about trust. Trusting something greater than ourselves can give us the strength and the fortitude to push through challenging times. My faith in the Universe or God has kept me going even when things seem bleak. My connection with the Universe has allowed me to trust myself and my abilities so much deeper than ever before. I know who I am and what I love doing, and I trust that things will unfold exactly as they should.
