Today we’d like to introduce you to Cindy Campbell-Taylor. She and her team shared their story with us below:

Taylor Made Solutions USA started due to a deep passion and love for helping companies extend their brands, create unique and memorable brand experiences, and help them tell stories that drive results. Cindy’s background spans almost 30 years in the hospitality industry and most of that time she worked for one of the world’s leading brands – The Walt Disney Company. She was blessed with the opportunities to represent worldwide destinations and was able to tell stories for theme parks and attractions, resorts, cruise lines, sports & recreation. Cindy also specializes in Event Marketing for groups/events/conventions, restaurants, and food & beverage concepts and helping those brands to create unique experiences for their clients and customers. She has worked on and with both domestic and international businesses. Her extensive background in sales, marketing, training, and leadership roles has culminated in what makes her business successful. Developing clients’ unique brand stories and then being able to articulate them – is one of Taylor Made Solutions USA’s greatest strengths and passions. Her lifelong training, experience, skills, and knowledge that she has gained helped to shape the company that she had always wanted to create. Cindy is a creative, energetic, free-spirited visionary. Cindy set out on her own seven years ago and has been telling stories worldwide every since. She has shaped immersive brand experiences through creative storytelling that captivates audiences and drives meaningful connections and results. She takes an innovative approach to experiential marketing and crafts campaigns that inspire. Additional strengths include a strategic mindset (keeping business in mind), taking a creative approach, and integrating brand priorities with immersive experiences.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For anyone to say that starting their own small business is smooth, they may be even a bigger dreamer than I am. Of course, there are obstacles and many challenges. Trying to figure out how to manage all of the day-to-day activities, admin, keeping up on state and governmental rules/policies/taxes, etc., is a challenge. Fortunately, she has established relationships with some amazing partners like accountants and CPAs who help with finances, but the day-to-day admin is still a daily grind. Then, finding the right-fit talent to help build the dream and the brand can be a challenge. Finding passionate marketers who care about my brand and representing other brands is critical for me. From the client side, they understand how important it is to get their brand, product, and services in front of their desired audiences. Still, they don’t prioritize budgets to help successfully achieve this, so helping these companies recognize why this critical can be challenging.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
We specialize in strategic branding. What sets Taylor Made Solutions USA apart from other agencies is that we are not just selling a product (for example, we are not just selling just a digital plan, advertising, etc) – we specialize in helping cleints to understand the big picture and helping to truly design and define what a company needs to help establish their brand and create brand awareness. We are visionaries and can help lay out a true Go To Market Plan and Strategy. Once we agree how to tell the story, then, we make the connections and bring in the right team members and partners to help take make their vision become a reality. What does this mean? This means we understand the “Why” of the Business and the “What.” One other differentiator is Taylor Made Solutions, USA (TMS) is passionate about ensuring that brands can deliver on their promise. A company can have the best marketing (which Cindy humbly states – will happen with TMS), but they need to deliver at the guest/client/customer level to be successful. Sometimes this may be the issue with the client and this is a hard message to deliver, but again – honesty and integrity are uncompromised at TMS. We have had to deliver this message to a few companies, and it’s always challenging to hear. But we work side by side with those companies to help them. We inspire the owners and their teams to get involved and ensure they are ready to deliver on their promises.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
That will go down as one of the craziest times in our lifetime and so many businesses sadly had to close. One of the biggest lessons and messages that Taylor Made Solutions, USA would share with companies and clients is that if they cut their marketing, sales, and messaging during tough times, it will take them longer to recover when they came out of it.
