Hi Aaron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m 31 years old. Originally from Williamstown, NJ. I’ve been in the workforce since I was 15. The family never had alot, and I’ve worked for everything I had, including my siblings had many jobs. Some get my hands dirty, and others wear a suit and tie. I had the opportunity to leave my hometown to travel and work for a few years living in Pittsburgh and Montgomery, AL. I came back and spent 5 years at home rebuilding my life. I was a union worker and felt I needed more than a 20-year career. I had the opportunity to come to Jacksonville, FL. I was only supposed to be here for the summer to build enough money to travel. I put my travel plan on hold to open a credit repair business. Along the way, I got my life insurance license. I’ve been in business for 5 years now. In 2021 I started a podcast. I would like to create my financial literacy seminar by the end of this year.
Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A lot of tragedy has befallen me and my family. My mother was murdered, my uncle was murdered a month after burying my mother, and throughout 5 years. Everyone that raised me was taken violently or by illness. Everything I’ve ever had worth of anything I had to get on my own. If I didn’t make it happen, it didn’t get done.
