Life & Work with Krystal Chenault of Fleming Island

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystal Chenault .

Hi Krystal, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
As a teenager, I wanted to be a model, but being from a small town in Arkansas, I knew that my chances of that were slim. Back in 2016, I finally jumped on the Instagram train. I started posting as a hobby, trying to fulfill that teenage dream. Even though I’m not an actual “model,” it still makes me happy to be in front of a camera. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working with wonderful brands.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say that being on social media can have its challenges, but it’s been pretty smooth for the most part. My only real struggle is when I get in a creative rut. Which usually means that it’s time for a break.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I started a lifestyle blog about 5 years ago. I went with the lifestyle niche because I enjoy talking about everything from fashion & beauty to cooking & Jesus! Not only do I put out a new blog post every week, but I’m also a stay-at-home mom and a Zumba Fitness instructor!! I think what sets me apart is probably my quirky personality. I’ve always been the over-the-top, borderline obnoxious girl.

Can you talk to us about happiness and what makes you happy?
My family makes me the happiest person! Because at the end of the day, if all social media outlets crash, I’ll still have the most important things in my life.
