Hi Dominique, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your Story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My Story is simple I have always been into Beauty and staying on top of the new trends. I’m very creative. I was in the medical field for 7 years as a Medical Assistant. I’ve always had a passion for helping others. This leads me to the beauty industry and wanting to open my own business. It’s a great feeling to make someone feel as beautiful as they look. One day I decided to enroll in Beauty School to be more hands-on with facials, waxing, manicure, pedicure, etc., all the things Beauty-related. I took a lash course and decided this was it! This is what I wanted to do! It’s a task where I can be creative and give a client a look they desire that brings out a difference in the eyes that can lift, be full, or as natural as a client wants. Being Creative and focused on giving my clients what they want is the beginning of my success.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Dealing with the COVID pandemic was very much a struggle itself. I’m so thankful that my support team, My Fiance, my Children, and my mom’s entire family encouraged me to keep going when I wanted to give up. This road had a few bumps in going to school Monday – Thursday from 6 pm-10 pm, working Monday- Friday from 8 am-4 pm, with so little time to spend with my family to get to where I am today.

My Mom/Bestfriend is so Great; with the support she gives, her words of encouragement mean everything to me. My Sisters are behind me 100% with all the support. The roles these guys play in my success let me know that no matter what, I have a team that will stand by me to make me Great and push me to want more from this journey.
