Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I always enjoyed making floral arrangements for holidays & really enjoyed receiving flowers! I always dreamed of owning a flower shop & said I would when my kids “grew up” & “when the time was right”…One day I just asked myself why not now? And decided to take a leap of Faith & create the dream that is now Vintage Floral Co.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I started in the busiest season of FLORALS, but I honestly couldn’t have asked for a smoother road. It definitely has had some hurdles with two toddlers in tow, but with the help of family, we’ve managed to work it out & always try to make it fun!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a small florist that specializes in making everyday floral arrangements that meet the needs of my customers. I think what sets me apart from others is my ability to make an arrangement all while tossing snacks at my toddlers – jk…kinda! No, but really what I think sets me apart is the eye I believe I have for florals and putting different flowers & plants together to create something unique and beautiful. I am most proud of the work ethic & drive I have to make Vintage Floral Co. something special & make all my customers happy!
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I believe having a passion for what you do is what drives you to be a HAPPY & successful person. What’s success without happiness right? Also, a commitment to learn & improve is important when setting yourself up for success. Lastly, I think you have to be optimistic, but also realistic when creating and successfully reaching your goals.
