Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlotte Patin.
Hi Charlotte, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Charlotte and I reside in Fleming Island with my husband and my two amazing bonus sons.
I have had a camera for as long as I can remember.
Growing up, my mom was an artist and would often take me with her to photograph places and things she would later draw. Photography remained a hobby of mine through adulthood, and when my mom passed in 2019, I knew I wanted to do something to honor her.
She always had so much faith in me as a photographer, so I knew that starting my own photography business was exactly what I wanted to do.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The pandemic started right as I was beginning the business, and I had so many fears about what that would mean for me. It was a rocky first few months but I managed to build a great client base and I couldn’t be happier with how things have gone.

I offer everything from wedding photography to birth photography. I don’t know that I could ever truly pick a favorite, as each type of photography is so special to me in its own way.
I started the business just offering family photography, but over the last 2 years, I’ve explored wedding and birth photography and love them both so dearly. It’s an amazing feeling to photograph any occasion or moment that is special to my clients.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is giving my clients photos that they can look back on for years to come and my hope is that each time they look at one of the photos, it takes them right back to that moment.
