Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronnie Mason.
Hi Ronnie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I have always been able to generate genuine relationships. And I have been coaching since I was 13 years old in Durham, NC. After my pursuit of a professional athlete, my goal was to create something that prepared the next up or next generation for the journey.
Solution Dynamics was created in 2014 and growing. Big enough where we do camps for big organizations such as Jax PAL and Jaguars, but small enough where we are able to go to games weekly of our athletes. TSDATHLETES is what we go by.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I can’t say smooth but what game, match up or competition is smooth.
You have to strategize, develop, transition and then you have peaks and cliffs. But one thing that has kept us in the fight is betting on our brand, our style, our clientele, and lastly is our mind that is taught. But we have had 3 locations in the past. Where we started growing the brand, then fiscal because of the conversation.
Betted on ourselves again, great location wrong environment and then helped grow a gym with our brand and they didn’t want to allow us to be part owner. So bets on TSD. So far so good in the new location, just missing the size.
We’ve been impressed with The Solution Dynamics A.R.C., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a nonprofit organization that offers training to athletes in Jacksonville FL.
Our mission statement is to continue developing solutions for every athlete’s goals that we encounter. We believe that a stronger athlete with the proper resources. Is a better athlete for their community. Preparation for the dynamics in life and of sports is what we offer but providing a solution for a dynamic future is what we are here for.
We have started creating a culture that is taught in the life of sports. We just started a little league team the TSD Bears working on basketball. But it doesn’t stop there. We want to be a resource for many more. But we realize that nothing is going to be given. You have to “GO GET EM”. which is our slogan.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
We don’t just train athletes to physically be able to make plays. We want them to understand that mentally you can make plays as well. Technician is a word that is closely related to the complete product of an TSDATHLETE, (a person skilled in the technique of an art or craft). Lastly, our finished product is a system that can be used as a program.
