Rising Stars: Meet Jacqueline Anaya

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Anaya.

Hi Jacqueline, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an acupuncturist and herbalist whose passionate about offering deeply relaxing, holistic healing. Traditional Asian Medicine has a rich medical heritage being 5,000 years old. I feel blessed to offer these extraordinary healing gifts to those who seek it today in the USA. I offer
rejuvenating treatments layered with relaxing Asian body work, acupuncture, herbal and nutritional guidance to resolve a broad spectrum of medical conditions. I have continually expanded my education through advanced training in fertility, skincare, post-traumatic stress disorder, cancer, digestive issues, and every kind of pain.

As a life-long learner, I’m always evolving through education, meditation, and personal growth. I started practicing Vipassana Meditation in 2008 which fundamentally altered my life – as much as discovering acupuncture had done. I continue on this meditation path today.

Previous to Traditional Asian Medicine, I was a graphic designer. I’ve combined these skills to illuminate the benefits of Asian Medicine on my YouTube channel. Qi is an energy that is subtle and yet profound. It plays into every dynamic of our being and relationships.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I excel in understanding how emotional wounds cause medical problems. Traditional Asian Medicine is far advanced to Western medicine in understanding the mind-body connection. For 5,000 years Asians studied this connection without separating it as Descarte had done in Western Europe 400 years ago. What Asians found was that a wound to an organ, say a wounded heart may cause the same emotional symptoms as being heartbroken. This dynamic also flows the other way – those who are heartbroken can damage their physical heart. This energetic pattern between the organ and the emotions sets deeper still when it roots in the physical.

In fact, heartbreak is very real for women, especially in this culture. Heart disease is the number one cause of death for women. Women are generally undervalued in our culture and it takes a toll on the body. Yet, there are many healings beyond Western cures. Traditional Asian medicine can holistically resolve body, mind, and spirit concerns at the root and branch of the concern- instead of subsisting on pharmaceuticals for a lifetime.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
