Today we’d like to introduce you to Tashia Hollenback.
Hi Tashia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My path to this work was anything but linear.
Before Earth School Advisor, I spent nearly 15 years working as a certified trial paralegal. I actually loved many parts of that career — the writing, the problem-solving, and especially the thought of helping turn injustice into justice. From the outside, I had built a successful, stable life. But internally, something was beginning to change.
If I had to put a date on it, I would say my spiritual awakening began in 2018, after I lost three people I loved back-to-back-to-back. Grief cracked me open in a way I wasn’t prepared for and sent me into what I now recognize as a Dark Night of the Soul.
At the time, I didn’t have a roadmap or someone guiding me through it. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the same way. So I started searching.
That search led me into a new way of being and living – energy healing, meditation, breathwork, EFT tapping, prayer, working with angels, conscious rituals, and eventually a much deeper relationship with my own self and intuition. What began as an attempt to heal myself slowly and holistically from the inside out became a completely different way of understanding life.
I began to see that some of the most painful chapters of our lives aren’t necessarily detours from our path — sometimes they’re the very experiences that lead us deeper into it.
That belief eventually became the heart of **Earth School Advisor**: the idea that Earth is our greatest classroom and that our experiences — even the difficult ones — can teach us, heal us, and help our souls grow.
In 2022, I made the huge decision to leave the career I had known for nearly 15 years and devote myself fully to this work. And I want to be honest about that part, because it wasn’t some perfectly graceful leap where I suddenly had everything figured out. It has been a continual process of trusting myself, unlearning who I thought I was supposed to be, and allowing myself to become who I actually am.
Since then, Earth School Advisor has grown alongside me. Today, I’m an energy healer and intuitive spiritual guide, and I lead women’s circles, workshops, and even hold transformational women’s retreats in Bali. My work is especially close to my heart because I know what it feels like to be the woman searching for answers, not knowing where to turn to or who to trust, trying to hold everything together, and also wondering, *There has to be more than this.*
One of the biggest turning points in my journey came in March 2025, when I spent a month in Bali. I traveled rooted in trust to the Island of the Gods rooted in trust that something there was waiting for me as I had a vision while soaking in the bathtub 4 years prior that told me I would be going there in 2025. I ended up praying in ancient temples, met incredible local Balinese healers, immersed myself in Balinese spirituality and culture, and trained in the ancient energy healing practice of Siwa Murti. That experience changed me profoundly. I came home feeling more whole — and with a deep knowing that someday I would bring other women back with me.
When I look back, I can see that Earth School Advisor wasn’t born from having all the answers. It was born from having to find my way through some very dark places and realizing how much I wished I’d had someone that was awakened and connected walking beside me through it all.
That’s really what I hope to offer other women now.
I don’t believe we’re here to become perfect versions of ourselves. I believe we’re here to experience life fully, learn from it, heal what we’re ready to heal, continue evolving and growing and keep remembering who we are underneath everything we’ve been taught we should be.
I’m still walking that path myself. The difference is that now, I get to walk beside other women while they find their way, too.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been an easy path at all. There have been plenty of twists, turns, disappointments, and moments when I’ve questioned myself and wondered whether I was doing the right thing. But I’ve come to believe it’s not supposed to be a perfectly smooth road. The bumps refine us. They reveal what we believe, what we’re willing to stand for, and whether we can keep trusting ourselves when the path doesn’t look the way we expected it to.
One of my biggest challenges has actually been learning to believe in myself.
Leaving a conventional career to build a business around spirituality, intuition, and energy healing required me to trust something I couldn’t fully prove or predict. I had to believe that if I followed my heart, did my part, and kept moving toward what felt aligned, the Universe would meet me halfway.
That sounds beautiful, but living it can be really hard — especially when people around you don’t understand your vision, question your choices, or judge a path that looks very different from the one they would choose.
I think we all want the people we love to say, “I see what you’re doing. I believe in you. Keep going.” When that validation isn’t there, you have to learn how to give some of it to yourself. I’ve had to become my own encourager — to talk myself up when outside voices were talking me down and to keep choosing my inner knowing over someone else’s opinion of what my life should look like.
I’ve also had some difficult lessons within the spiritual and healing world itself. Early on, I think I assumed that people who identified as spiritual would naturally operate from a place of integrity, kindness, and community. I learned that isn’t always the case. That was painful, but it gave me discernment and made me much more intentional about the kind of practitioner, leader, and person I want to be.
And then there has been the challenge of timing.
When I started Earth School Advisor, I had a vision, but I wasn’t yet the person capable of holding all of it. There were things I still needed to learn, experiences I needed to have, people I needed to meet, and parts of myself I needed to grow into.
I’ve had to learn that I don’t need to see the entire path. Sometimes I just need enough courage and clarity to take the next right step — and trust that the next step will reveal itself after that.
Looking back, so many of the things I once considered obstacles were actually preparing me for what came next. The disappointment taught me discernment. The lack of support taught me self-trust. The uncertainty taught me faith. And the things that didn’t happen on my timeline taught me that sometimes we have to become the person capable of holding the vision before the vision can fully arrive.
In many ways, building Earth School Advisor has required me to practice the very things I now help other women rediscover: self-trust, intuition, courage, discernment, and the willingness to follow what is calling you even before you have all the answers.
So no, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. But I don’t think I’d want it to have been because the bumps didn’t just build the business. They built me.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Earth School Advisor is a spiritual wellness business rooted in one foundational belief: Earth is our soul’s greatest classroom. Everything we experience here — the beautiful, the painful, and everything in between — has the potential to teach us, heal us, and help us remember more of who we truly are.
I’m an energy healer and intuitive spiritual guide, and I help women move through periods of change and transformation by going beneath the surface of what they’re experiencing, releasing energy they no longer need to carry, and reconnecting them with their own intuition and inner knowing.
My work blends energy healing, intuitive spiritual guidance, meditation, sacred ritual, and community through private sessions, women’s circles, workshops, and immersive retreats.
What makes my approach different is that I don’t believe wellness stops with the physical body.
Think about it: as children, we’re taught how to go to the bathroom, how to shower, brush our teeth, change our underwear, eat, drink, and take care of our bodies every single day. But who teaches us how to care for our minds, spirits, and energy? That missing piece fascinates me.
I believe our experiences leave energetic imprints, and we can continue carrying old emotions, patterns, beliefs, and stagnant energy long after an experience has ended. I also believe some patterns can travel through families and generations. One of the most powerful things I teach women is that we don’t have to carry everything forever. We can learn how to let go.
Energy healing helps me work with what isn’t always visible but can still be deeply felt. I help clients clear and move stagnant energy and restore greater flow and harmony, but just as importantly, I teach them practices they can use themselves. My goal isn’t to make someone dependent on me for healing; it’s to help her become more connected to herself.
And no two sessions with me are the same. I work intuitively with the person and energy in front of me rather than following a formula.
My work also extends beyond humans. I offer energy healing for horses and other animals, and I sometimes incorporate horses into private client healing experiences. Animals — and horses especially — bring an extraordinary level of presence and energetic sensitivity into the space, adding another dimension to the way I understand and work with energy.
But perhaps what I’m most known for is going deep.
I’m not interested in putting a spiritual Band-Aid over something and calling it healing. I naturally look for the root: What’s underneath this pattern? Where did it begin? What are you still carrying? What isn’t being said? What is this experience trying to teach you?
I’m highly intuitive and observant, and I often recognize patterns, energetic shifts, and connections that others may overlook. I don’t use that ability to tell women who they are or what they should do. I use it to illuminate what they may not be able to see yet so they can find their own answers.
What I’m most proud of is watching Earth School Advisor evolve from my own healing journey into something that now creates transformational experiences for other women. That’s really the heart of Earth School Advisor: taking what life has taught me and using it to light the trail for someone else.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Self-trust.
I think learning to trust myself has been the most important quality behind everything I’ve built.
And I say “learning” because I don’t think self-trust was something I naturally had an abundance of. It’s something life has required me to develop over and over again.
I’ve had to trust myself when other people didn’t understand what I was doing. I’ve had to trust my intuition when logic couldn’t give me an answer. I’ve had to trust myself enough to leave a career I’d spent nearly 15 years building and follow a completely different calling. I’ve had to trust the ideas, opportunities, people, places, and inner nudges that didn’t always make sense at the time but ultimately led me somewhere important.
I’ve learned that there’s a difference between confidence and self-trust. Confidence often comes after we have evidence that we’re capable of something. Self-trust asks us to move before we have the evidence.
That’s been one of the greatest lessons of my life.
I don’t need to see the entire path anymore. I need to trust myself enough to recognize the next right step and have the courage to take it.
That doesn’t mean I never question myself — I absolutely do. But I’ve learned how to come back to myself instead of immediately looking outside of myself for the answer.
And interestingly, that’s also at the heart of what I teach other women.
I don’t want women to become dependent on me for answers, healing, or direction. I want to help them reconnect with themselves so deeply that they begin recognizing their own intuition, trusting their own inner knowing, caring for their own energy, and realizing how much wisdom already exists within them.
I think one of the greatest things a teacher or guide can do is eventually help someone realize that the voice they’ve been searching for was inside them all along.
So if I had to choose one quality, it would be self-trust — because almost everything meaningful I’ve created began with trusting something I couldn’t fully see yet.
