Rising Stars: Meet Jack Varnell of Jacksonville, FL

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jack Varnell.

Hi Jack, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Trauma in my earl life landed me in jails and institutions. Then came the miracle of change . A dedication to a recovery based lifestyle gave me a tribe and a mission.

The requisite need to survive has given me five years of providing “family” to those in need.

I’ve also had to be resilient, modifying plans based on on many things, like a chronic illness which may never heal. Not as important though, when I’m actually living.

Am building an empire of goodness, with many moving parts. Book- art sales, the podcast and fledgling community on buymeacoffee @sovialyetdistanced.
We ar on all the socials, pod platforms, and YouTube .

While I may not be known as an entrepreneur , I do know bout to find and cater to an audience. From a junkie in the streets, to one in crisis, to the community and those with the purse strings, I’d welcome you to join us.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say it has absolutely not been easy. Moving, divorce, death of parents are example of curves in the road.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
All my creative work is educational in nature, from an “arts as healing” theme. Poetry and written word, and separately visual arts .

I am proud these tools are allowing my words and experience in life but while also creating a home for my large circle of artists to share the art.

I’m proud of the business relationship and affiliate opportunities mined for my audience.

Be resilient and to never stop going forward is the key.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
