Rivera Promotions is a premier events promotions platform founded by a local female promoter in northeast Florida. Our platform aims to increase awareness for various events, including concerts, comedy shows, nightclubs, festivals, conferences, and more. We target a professional audience aged 25-65 and more and focus on driving website traffic for event discovery and ticket purchases. With a unique selling point of being the first of its kind in the region, Rivera Promotions stands out as a platform for promoting a wide variety of events.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
it had its ups and down especially during Covid. But now that Jacksonville, is growing my business has picked up a lot.

I Have started consulting as well. I am most proud of the work I do by bringing people together and connecting people to each other. I was Instrumental in having 2 kids adopted by a family in Maryland by sharing it thru my emails.
What sets me apart from others is that I do my job from my heart and I stand by my word.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was very shy and got bullied a lot. but I knew I had to break myself out of being shy and stand up for myself. I played Tennis in Hight school, played softball in my neighborhood, I danced in high school, on a TV show in DC called the Moonman connection. I am originally from Baltimore MD. Went in the Navy in 1980 and retired in 1996 in Pensacola FL and relocated to Jacksonville, in 1997 where I remain now.
